ELAS – Long-term Energy Analysis for Settlement Structures

Welcome to the ELAS Calculator!

With the ELAS calculator you can analyse residential settlements and individual buildings based on their energy consumption. The calculator allows you to examine both the current state of an existing settlement down to the individual household, as well as simulate a planning project (new construction, renovation, expansion, demolition). Furthermore, future developments can be represented using predefined scenarios.

What does ELAS calculate?

Energy Consumption

Calculation of total energy consumption of the settlement by energy carrier.

Assessment of environmental impact using the ecological footprint method.

CO₂ Life-Cycle Emissions

Life-cycle analysis of CO₂ emissions from buildings and infrastructure.

Regional Economic Effects

Analysis of turnover, value added, imports and employment (RöEA).

Two Analysis Modes

Municipality

Analyse existing and planned residential settlements. Knowledge of settlement-specific data (street lighting, sewage network, etc.) required.

Private Household

Analyse a single residential unit and create your own forecasts by changing the parameters.
